About this site

VedGrid is a free education site for three Indian traditions: numerology (अंक ज्योतिष), Vedic astrology (ज्योतिष) and Vastu. It started with numerology, which is complete, and is adding the other two subject by subject.

Why it exists

Most numerology sites are built to sell something: a reading, a remedy, a name change. This one is built to teach. Every calculator shows its working, every result links to the lesson that explains it, and nothing is for sale.

The rules we follow

• Calculations are tested. Every function in the numerology library has automated tests against worked examples, and the examples appear in the lessons so you can check them by hand.
• Meanings are reviewed. Interpretations live in editable files marked for review. A lesson or meaning that has not been approved says so on the page.
• No fear, no remedies, no guarantees. We describe what a tradition says. We do not predict events, sell corrections or promise outcomes.
• Your data stays with you. Names, dates of birth and phone numbers are processed in your browser and never sent to our servers.
• Free, in English and Hindi. The site is funded by ordinary advertising, kept away from the calculators, and will stay free.

Who runs it

The site is built and edited by Khushal Thakkar. Numerology content is being reviewed by a practising numerologist before publication; the reviewer will be named on each lesson once that review is complete.
