Privacy policy
What VedGrid collects, what it never collects, the cookies and third-party services it uses, and your rights under India's DPDP Act.

This policy explains what information this site handles and what it does not. It is written to be read, not skimmed; it is short because we collect very little.
What the calculators do with your input
Names, dates of birth, mobile numbers and any other value you type into a calculator are processed entirely in your browser. They are not sent to our servers, not stored, and not included in analytics. When you share a result, the link carries only the derived number (for example a Moolank of 5), never the date or name that produced it. When you download a result image, it is drawn in your browser. After a calculation, your date of birth (and, for the Lo Shu and Kua tools, your gender) is remembered in your browser's local storage so the other tools can be prefilled; it stays on your device, is never sent to us, and the "Forget it" link under the field removes it.
What we do collect
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and tool uses. Events are named for the tool (for example "moolank calculated") and carry no personal values. Google's own cookies and identifiers apply; see Google's privacy policy for how Google handles that data.
- Preferences. Your theme choice (light or dark) is kept in your browser's local storage. Your language choice may be kept in a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE. Neither is sent to us.
- E-mail you send us. If you write to us, we keep the message to answer it.
Advertising
The site is funded by Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may set cookies and use identifiers to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where the law allows and you have consented. Visitors in regions that require it are shown a consent message before any such cookie is set. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings. Ads are never placed next to calculator inputs or inside result cards.

Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws elsewhere, you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and withdraw consent. Because the calculators keep nothing, the only personal data we are likely to hold is e-mail you sent us. Write to hello@example.com and we will act within thirty days.
Children
The site is general-audience educational content and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
