What this calculator does
A house number is read for the character of the home: the digits and letters that identify your door are added and reduced to one number, and the nine readings describe what kind of household that number is said to suit. With your date of birth the calculator also shows the match with your Moolank and Bhagyank, the same friendly, neutral and opposing table used across the site.
How is the house number calculated?
- Take the number on the door, for example B-204.
- Give letters their Chaldean value and keep the digits: B = 2, then 2, 0, 4.
- Add: 2 + 2 + 0 + 4 = 8.
8 is already a single digit, so the house number is 8. Hyphens, slashes and spaces are ignored, up to 20 letters and digits are read, and a total of 11 or 22 is reduced to 2 or 4.
Worked example
B-204 gives 8, ruled by Saturn: the ambitious home, suited to work, finance and long-term plans. 12A gives 1 + 2 + 1 = 4, the steady home. For a resident born on 14 August 1990 (Moolank 5, Bhagyank 5), an 8 home is neutral to both numbers.
A second example
D-1402, resident born 21 January 1993:
- D = 4, then 1, 4, 0, 2
- 4 + 1 + 4 + 0 + 2 = 11, and 1 + 1 = 2
- Resident: Moolank 2 + 1 = 3, Bhagyank 2+1+0+1+1+9+9+3 = 26 → 8
- Moolank 3 with 2: friendly. Bhagyank 8 with 2: neutral.
A 2 home, ruled by the Moon: "the gentle home", suited to couples and small households, with the balance of not letting quiet become isolation. Without the wing letter, 1402 would add to 7, a different reading, which is why the letter matters here. Number 2 has the Moon's number in depth.

How to read your result
- The number and headline. "Your house number reduces to" with the digit and its home title, such as "The gentle home".
- The reading. One or two sentences on the household the number suits and the balance to keep.
- The character tiles. Each letter and digit with the value it was given, with a note that letters count by their Chaldean value.
- The facts. The number's ruling planet, keywords, lucky colours, lucky days and friendly numbers.
- The match rows. With a date of birth, your Moolank and Bhagyank, each with a Friendly, Neutral or Opposing badge, read from your row of the table.
- How it was calculated. The values joined by plus signs, then the total and each step, for example 4+1+4+0+2 = 11 → 2.
The reading describes a household style; the match tells you how it sits with yours. People live well in homes of every number. If the reading does not fit the home you know, that is useful information too.
Where do schools disagree?
Some numerologists read only the digits; others add the full address, including the building name. This site counts the door number with its wing letter (set in the site's settings file), because that is what marks your home out from the others in the building. A different, direction-based way to look at the same space is the Kua number, which the Kua number calculator works out from your date of birth.
Common mistakes
- Typing words. "Flat", "Tower" or "No." add letter values and change the number.
- Using the building's number for a flat. Read the number on your own door.
- Reading the match from the wrong side. The 2 row lists 8 as opposing, but the tool reads from your number's row, and 8 is neutral to 2.
- Looking for a verdict. No home is unlucky here, and no remedy is offered.
